Woodville Announces Porch Restoration Project

Dear Friend of Woodville,

I am the President of Neville House Associates, which operates the Woodville historic house and property. As you know, Woodville is home to the Neville House, a National Historic Landmark in Collier Township, Pennsylvania, which is open to the public as a living history museum.  I am writing to re-introduce you to Woodville in the hope that you will consider a year-end donation to our Porch Restoration Project.

If you’ve been to Woodville, you know the iconic front porch with its decorative lattice.  Like any older building, Woodville needs periodic maintenance. Right now, its graceful front porch is in desperate need of restoration and so we are seeking grants and donations to do this work for which the estimate is $42,000.  This year, until December 31, 2023, if you choose to contribute to the project you can double your impact: A generous benefactor has offered to match, dollar for dollar, individual donations toward the Porch Restoration Project.

In recent years, Woodville has constructed a historic barn and cabin, expanded its parking lot, moved the historic grave markers and their display shelter, and replaced the roof on the main house. Please support Woodville this year with a donation in any amount. Donate online at https://woodville-experience.org/more-ways-to-give/ or by sending a check to Neville House Associates, 1375 Washington Pike, Bridgeville, PA 15017.  With your help, we can continue to preserve the original 1785 historic house for decades to come.

Sincerely,
Susan O’Toole
President
Neville House Associates
