Fellowship 24 Opens at Silver Eye
Taking the Fellowship 24 competitionas a point of departure, this exhibition reflects the unique perspectives of this year's artists. As a Scholar @ Silver Eye, undergraduate seniors have the opportunity to immerse themselves in a year long work study program to learn the ins and outs of curation and gallery management. During this time they are exposed to the diverse talents within the Silver Eye Community through artist talks, studio visits, and working hands on with the Lab @ Silver Eye, programming, and exhibitions.

Silver Eye Appoints Interim Director
Silver Eye Center for photography is excited to announce their new Interim Executive Director, Leo Hsu. Leo grew up in Pittsburgh and was deeply influenced by Silver Eye as a teenager experiencing photography. After many years away, he returned to Pittsburgh with his family, where he teaches in the Photography program at Carnegie Mellon University and had served on Silver Eye’s board.
Four presenters took what many of us know of as a regional conflict which we call the “French and Indian War” involving the British and French Empires, as well as several indigenous nations and confederacies, and opened our eyes to a wider world conflict.
